Features of 1.0
1.0 is totally awesome:
- Your favorite lovable
characters have been animated in the winter holiday spirit in amazing
HD, taking advantage of the
iPad's large screen, and the iPhone 4 and 4th generation iPod Touch's
Retina Displays.
- If your device is
video enabled you can render your trigger recordings as super-high
quality videos and share them with your friends on Facebook, YouTube,
or by email.
- You can customize
which features you want available. Got young kids?
Turn on "Kid Mode" to turn off the advanced features.
- Do you have a 2nd or
3rd generation iPod Touch? Now you can route the audio to the
external speakers no matter which type of external microphone you have.
- Did you record over
the bundled triggers? No problem--now you can reset them!
- Do you like your
guinea pig to always have a freaky voice? Now you can choose
"Sticky Pitch & Speed" to keep your characters' voice settings.
- There are no analytics in SmackTalk! Holiday. None of
your personal
information or usage of the app is monitored. You only use the
internet when you upload videos via email, Facebook, or YouTube, or
when you email for support.

Customization
Here you can customize which features you want enabled.

- "Kid Mode"
is great for young children. It turns off most features,
leaving on only the triggers. This way they can use the
TalkBack and Trigger playback features without inadvertently recording
over the Triggers.
- "Say Again"
will enable/disable the "Say Again" button.
- "Record Now"
will enable/disable the "Record Now" button.
- "Pitch & Speed"
will enable/disable the Pitch and Speed sliders.
- "Sticky Pitch &
Speed" will keep your custom
Pitch
and Speed settings for each character. If you disable this
feature then the character's pitch and speed settings are reset to the
defaults each time you swipe from character to character.
- "Triggers"
enables/disables the Triggers.
- "Trigger Recording"
enables/disables recording over Triggers. You can disable
recording for small children.

Audio

This feature is for all you 2nd and 3rd generation iPod Touch users,
which require an external microphone to use SmackTalk! For
those of you who have an external microphone with no earbuds you can
enable this feature to always route the audio to the external speakers.
4th generation iPod Touches have a built-in microphone, so this feature
is unneccessary for users of that device.
